Chapter 1
On our wedding night, Ethan Carter, who had always been cold to me, suddenly turned into a wildfire, ravaging me all night long.
I thought he wanted a child with me, so I happily accepted his wildness.
Two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. Twins. I went to find him, filled with joy, only to hear Mia Collins's sultry giggles spilling from inside the private room.
"You guys are a riot. I was just joking when I said that whoever got Chloe Davis pregnant, Ethan would give you ten million."
"You seriously went for it on their wedding night?"
"Five of you went at my sister-in-law all night. What if she finds out and gets mad?"
Caleb Carter said coldly, "With five men servicing her, if she still doesn't get pregnant, that bet's a total waste!"
The men beside them burst into laughter, followed by all sorts of vulgar jokes:
"I heard virgins get pregnant easily. That ten million is definitely mine."
"She was a freakin blast. We worked hard that night, so she's definitely pregnant with my kid."
"No way. I outlasted you all. If she's pregnant, it's mine!"
Amidst the men's banter, Mia smiled, took a sip of her drink, and her eyes narrowed as she looked at me hiding outside the door.
"Oh, quit fighting. Do you guys really need that ten million?"
A friend scoffed, "Ainât about the cashâjust whoâs got the moves."
Mia continued, "If she really is pregnant, Ethan, you'd be angry, right?"
Ethan sneered nonchalantly, "No. A slut pregnant with someone else's bastard. She was acting like a total whore those days, and still dared to cling to me."
"Besides, didn't you guys keep the HD video? You can rewatch it for fun."
The crew howled with laughter.
"Yeah, that's the prim from the Davis Group, acting like a slut under me. Just thinking about it is a turn-on."
"How would she dare say anything?
We were just following Ethan's orders!"
I heard every single word of their conversation, my whole body trembling.
My mind went blank, a sharp pain shot through my chest, and my breathing became ragged.
Mia's eyes met mine. She waved me in and said deliberately,
"Sister-in-law, you're here! Why didn't you say anything?"
Ethan glanced at me and said without a hint of guilt, "We were just joking. Don't take it to heart."
I scanned the faces in the room, feeling completely exposed, and mustered the strength to ask,
"Is this the kind of thing you can just joke about?"
A man walked up to me, his gaze disgusting, his wandering hand landing on my shoulder.
"Sister-in-law!
Chill out!"
Ethan warned me, "That's enough. We have company!"
I didn't have the courage to stay any longer. The moment I turned, tears streamed down my face.
Ours was a marriage of convenience, but I had loved Ethan openly for ten years. He finally agreed to marry me, but not because he was moved by my feelings.
The drinks that night... I drank them without suspicion, and they pushed me into an abyss.
My thoughts were a mess, I was barely conscious, not even realizing when the men on top of me switched.
I copied the women in movies, trying so hard to please Ethan, lowering my dignity again and again.
And all of this was just because of a joke from his darling, Mia.
Back at home, I looked at the HD camera in the room and smashed it violently.
Tears streamed down my face. I felt like I didn't deserve to live.
I'm so filthy, so disgusting!
Ethan's cold voice came from outside the door, "What are you freaking out about? I already told you, it was just a joke."
My eyes were red as I asked through sobs, "Is that so?
Then why did you install a camera in the bedroom?"
Ethan sat in front of me, looked at the camera on the floor, and said, "This is all to protect you."
To protect me, or to record high-definition action videos?
He took my cold hand and sighed, "What about your test results from the hospital today?
You've wanted a child all these years, you should be happy now!"
I asked in a hoarse voice, "Do you really want me to have your baby?
Ethan, you haven't touched me since our wedding night!"
Ethan replied gently, "I felt bad that you were so tired that night. Chloe, you're my wife, would I ever hurt you?"
"Besides, I worked so hard that night, there's no way you wouldn't get pregnant."
I just hate that I learned this disgusting truth today. The man I've loved for years is a complete and utter demon.
I pulled my hand back, and the flimsy ultrasound report from my bag fell to the floor with it.
Chapter 2
Ethan picked it up and glanced at it, frowning slightly, but with a mocking smile.
"I'll take you to the hospital for a check-up tomorrow. Pregnant with two at once, that's quite something."
He locked me in the room, and the next morning, I was forced to go to the hospital.
Five guys were already loitering by the door, their hungry eyes raking over me like I was prey.
Mia deliberately grabbed my hand, trying to disgust me, "Sister-in-law, you're really something, pregnant with two at once."
Ethan pulled me behind him, "Alright, let's go get the check-up now!"
We didn't go to the obstetrics and gynecology department, but straight to a DNA testing center.
His tone was sharp as he questioned the doctor, "When can we do a paternity test?"
The doctor looked at the crowd and frowned, "She's less than a month pregnant. I'd advise against doing it..."
Ethan's tone was firm, "What if it has to be done?"
The doctor refused outright, "At least ten weeks from now."
Mia exclaimed, "Three months? Isn't that too late? You've wasted so much of our time today."
I stood at the very front, accepting reality with a bitter smile.
Ethan said impatiently, "Do it now. And that includes my five friends behind me!"
The doctor was shocked, "I'm not a mediation center! I have to abide by medical ethics!"
Mia added, "But we have to find the real father. And with twins, isn't there a chance they don't have the same one?"
The five men behind me chuckled sinisterly, their voices rising in a heated discussion.
"Ethan, the price just doubled. Ten million isn't enough, it's gotta be twenty million."
"One woman against five men on her wedding night, and twins too. What a constitution!"
Passersby were also giving me strange looks, and one mentally unstable man even walked up to me.
He threw the chicken soup right in my face, "You slut!"
I cried out in pain, and tears immediately streamed down my face.
A flash of pity crossed Ethan's eyes, and he reached out to hold me.
But Mia stomped her foot and ran off.
"You go home first. I'll explain this to you later. Mia is emotionally unstable."
The five men behind me left too, rushing to comfort his darling.
I stood there, a complete mess, the chicken soup dripping from my hair, my whole face burning with pain.
Suppressing the pain, I cleaned myself up a bit and went to the burn clinic to get some ointment.
The nurse said sarcastically, "You don't appreciate such a handsome husband. One woman against five men on your wedding night, how shameless!"
The pressure from her hand grew heavier. I frowned and turned my face away.
"Can I get another nurse?"
"Change nurses? Just see who's willing to treat you. You're bad luck."
My heart dead, I accepted the treatment, not even daring to shed a tear.
When I walked out of the hospital, the sky was completely dark.
"How much for a night? I'll pay you. Come sleep with me now."
I turned my head and saw it was the psycho who threw chicken soup on me. My scalp tingled and a chill ran down my spine.
"Don't run. I'm not picky."
I took off running, as if there were wolves and tigers behind me.
On the taxi ride home, I even felt the driver's eyes on me were full of lust.
I trembled, filled with fear.
Back home, I slumped against the door, feeling like I had just narrowly escaped death.
Before I could even catch my breath, I saw clothes, panties, and shredded stockings strewn across the entryway.
The waves of sound coming from the room nearly tore me to pieces.
I completely broke down. Why are you doing this to me?
Through the crack of the slightly open door, I saw Mia give me a defiant look.
Chapter 3
They were doing it on purpose, just to disgust me.
But I didn't have the strength to run anymore.
After some time, Mia looked down at me.
Her skin was littered with steamy marks, and she was rocking my brand-new nightgown.
"Chloe, you want to steal Ethan from me? Take a look at yourself, you're nothing!"
"Whoring yourself to lure him into bed, only to get gang-banged by five guys and knocked up with some bastard. Thrilled, huh?
Next time, I can arrange for ten."
Mia's face was full of jealousy as she leaned down and grabbed my chin.
"Has Ethan even laid a finger on you?
He only married you for the company. His body, his heart, theyâre all mine!"
Despair spread through my body. I looked at her and said sarcastically.
"I was with him for ten years. Youâre just some assistant who fucked your way up."
Hearing my words, her expression changed immediately, and she said viciously.
"What's there to be proud of? I'll have Ethan teach you a lesson tomorrow."
I slowly stood up and spoke calmly, "Mia, what do you really want?
If you want my position, I'll give it to you."
Mia was mad with jealousy. She grabbed my wrist. "Give?
!
I'll drag you down from this position one day."
She picked up a nearby vase and smashed it on the floor, her eyes filled with malice.
She picked up a shard, cut her own neck, and then quickly shoved it into my hand.
"How could you do this to me!
Sis, I just wanted to come and help you, but you tried to hurt me."
Ethan saw what was happening and rushed over immediately.
Mia sobbed pitifully, "We were just trying to help you. How could you repay our kindness like this?"
Ethan stood in front of me, took the shard, and cut my arm with it too.
"Now we're even!"
It was always like this. Whenever Mia was wronged in the slightest, he would make me pay for it.
"I didn't do it!"
Mia deliberately fanned the flames, "Don't be like that, Ethan. It's fine if I'm disfigured. After all, she is the heiress of the Davis family."
He gave me a cold glance and swept Mia up into his arms.
As he passed me, he deliberately pushed me.
I couldn't keep my balance and my stomach slammed into the sharp corner of the table.
The tea set on the table was knocked off. I hunched over, the pain leaving me unable to say a word.
He yelled angrily, "Chloe, after all these years, how did I never see what a two-faced person you are."
"Mia is an innocent blank slate, don't you dare hurt her!"
I clutched my stomach, cold sweat soaking through my clothes, and forced myself to speak.
"Ethan, I didn't do it. And I would never do something so despicable."
"Enough!
Mia said your child isn't mine."
He left, carrying Mia, and stepped on my foot as he passed.
"You're such a great actress. There's no audience now, so you can just entertain yourself!"
Mia looked back and gave me a victorious smile.
I gritted my teeth, telling myself not to pass out. I could only save myself now.
I was starting to bleed from down below. My legs were too weak to stand, so I had to crawl to get my phone from my bag.
By the time the doctor arrived, I was covered in blood.
